FAQ

1. Why should I join conversation classes?

Even after completing intensive courses at levels A2, B1, B2, or C1, many people still struggle with speaking confidently. Conversation classes are designed to help you integrate the grammar and vocabulary you've learned into real conversations. The more you practice, the better you'll become at expressing yourself, understanding others, and building fluency.

2. What should I book a single class or monthly membership?

We offer a single class as a trial, allowing you to see if this format suits your needs. However, fluency comes with regular practice. Just after a monthly membership, you will notice real improvements in your speaking skills.

3. What is included in the membership?

A monthly membership includes 4 speaking practice classes. You will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with others, improve your German skills, and receive feedback from our tutors.

4. What language levels are accepted?

Our speaking classes are ideal for learners at A2 level and above. We offer two groups: A2-B1 and B2-C1, high levels are led by a native speaker.

For A1 learners, we recommend starting with an intensive course to build a foundation in German basics before joining the speaking sessions.

5. How Long is Each Class and What is the Class Structure?

Each class is 75 minutes long and is divided into three parts:

1) Warm-up: Group warm-up to get comfortable and ready to speak.
2) Main Discussions: 1-on-1 conversations in Zoom breakout rooms for focused practice.
3) Speaking Game: A fun, interactive game to practice speaking and reinforce what you've learned.

6. What kind of topics are covered in the classes?

Our classes cover a wide range of topics, including everyday conversations, business language, cultural discussions, and more. The focus is on real-life situations to make your learning practical and enjoyable. Topics and questions are thoughtfully prepared by our tutor, who has a background in philosophy, adding depth and relevance to each discussion.

7. Who leads the classes?

Our classes are led by experienced German speakers who are either native or fluent. They guide the conversation in the group, offer discussions in the small groups, gives feedback and offer language tips throughout the session.

8. How do I sign up for the classes?

To sign up, simply select the start date of your first class and purchase your membership. From there, you'll have a class each week for four weeks. In case of holidays, any missed class will be rescheduled for the following week.

9. Can I reschedule or cancel a class?

Classes cannot be rescheduled or canceled, and we do not offer refunds for missed classes. Consistent attendance is key to achieving the best results in language learning, as discipline and regular practice help build fluency and confidence over time.

10. Can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership at any time, but it will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partially used months.
